Én gang Berner - altid FCI Berner

Anni - behind Kennel Blässis

My name is Anni Smedegaard. I live alone with my dogs in a small country house, in the mittle of Jylland in Denmark. My house is surrounded by beautiful nature, right between forests, lakes and the next door neighbor is miles away.

In my adult life I have had Newfoundlands and later Bernese Mountain Dogs. The dogs brings great wealth into my life. Together with them I enjoy the daily nature of our long trips. Through dogs, my life is also enriched with friendships and contacts with many dedicated and wonderful dog owners - not least in the world of BMD´s.

It is my hope, that I through my active participation in the breeding of Bernese Mountain Dogs, may contribute to work for better health and movement of our breed.

Experience and more knowledge

Over time, the dogs and I have participated in obedience training and ring training courses. I have also attended a number of meetings, courses and seminars primarily around breeding and health.
  • Recently 9th International Health Symposium in Geneva.
  • Breeding seminar for breeders in DBSK.
  • In November 2013, I finished A Breeding seminar, and is now certified as a breeder through The Danish Kennel Club.
  • In February 2014, I participate in the "Knowledge on the table" at the University / Faculty, organized by the DKK.

In my everyday life, I take great pleasure in my education as a dog masseur, taken at BIO Dyreklinik v / veterinarian Bente Iversen. It has altso given a great insight into the world of anatomy and understanding of movement and health.

  • KNOWLEDGE IS RESPONSIBILITY.
  • Knowledge is the way forward to improve our breed.
  • Knowledge is also knowing, how important it is to maintain the width of the breed and not to exclude a quantity of dogs because of their heredity or flaw, we must remember to look at the dos as a whole.
  • If you have knowledge about health regarding dogs related to mine, I will be very grateful to receive this information.

Once again, welcome to my website - hope you find what you are looking for.
